The Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is a nationally accredited RQF qualification designed to develop knowledge and understanding of working in a school setting.
It covers core areas such as:

- Safeguarding and wellbeing
This qualification is knowledge-based and can be completed without workplace evidence. It provides a structured introduction to the expectations, responsibilities and safeguarding requirements of school support staff.

This course is delivered 100% online via distance learning. You study independently and submit assignments electronically through our learning platform.

How will i be assessed?
Assessment is through a portfolio of evidence.
As a knowledge-based qualification, evidence primarily consists of:
- Written assignments

• Worksheets
• Records of questioning
There are no exams and no mandatory placement. Assessment is internally assessed in line with Focus Awards requirements
How long will it take?
- Guided Learning Hours (GLH): 80
- Total Qualification Time (TQT): 120 hours
- Maximum completion window: 24 months
The extended completion period allows learners to progress at a comfortable pace around work and personal commitments.
